Free Soil man ticketed after leaving crash.

PERE MARQUETTE TOWNSHIP — A 63-year-old Free Soil man was cited by the Mason County Sheriff’s Office for failure to stop and identify following a vehicle crash on Thursday, Oct. 4. The two vehicle crash occurred at US 10 and Jebavy Drive about 5 p.m. There were no injuries as a result of the crash, but the crash was considered to be a hit-and-run, according to Sheriff Kim Cole. The man was found after witnesses obtained his vehicle registration. He was also cited for improper registration.

- 1:07 a.m., traffic hazard, tree in the road, Pere Marquette Highway and Birch Lane, Summit Township.
- 2:20 a.m., traffic hazard, wires in the road, Benson and Hansen roads, Branch Township.
- 4:06 p.m., two vehicle crash, no injuries, Pere Marquette Highway and Conrad Road, Pere Marquette Township.
- 8:35 p.m., car/deer crash, no injuries, US 31 expressway near Conrad Road overpass, Amber Township.
