Wine & Bites event will raise funds for Ludington Splash Pad.

LUDINGTON — A Wine & Bites fund raiser for the Ludington Splash Pad project will be held Wednesday, Sept. 12 at PM Steamers, 502 W. Loomis, from 6 to 9 p.m.

Admission to the event is $30. Tickets may be purchased in advance here, or at the door. The event includes wine tastings and food.

The splash pad is being planned for Copeyon Park. To date, the committee has raised $120,000 of its approximate $130,000 goal. Funds will be used to build the splash pad and also to create an account to maintain it.

Those wishing to make a donation beyond attending the event, may send a check to Community Foundation for Mason County, PO Box 10, Ludington, MI 49431. Write “Ludington Splash Pad Fund” in the memo line.
