Upcoming speakers at Ludington Optimist Club.

LUDINGTON — The Ludington Optimist Club meets every Tuesday at noon at the American Legion Post 76, 318 N. James Street. The following speakers will be presenting during the remainder of September:

Sept. 11, Amy Marsh, Ludington Area School District, backpack program

Sept. 18, David Greenwood, caption telephone, a device that converts a caller’s speech into text on the phone. The device is paid for by the Americans with Disabilities Act.

Sept. 25, Michelle Hemmer, veterans’ issues.
