Fin & Feather Club offering CPL, pistol, hunter safety classes.

SHERMAN TOWNSHIP — The Fin & Feather Club of Mason County is offering a variety of firearm/hunter classes in the next few months.

Concealed Pistol License classes: The club will offer a two-day CPL class on Friday, Aug. 3 from 6 to 9 p.m. and all day Saturday, Aug. 4, with live range shooting to take place in the afternoon. Cost is $50 for Fin & Feather Club members, $100 for non club members.

Another class will be offered Oct. 5 and 6.

Basic Pistol Class: The Fin & Feather Club will also be offering a basic pistol classes from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. on Saturday, Sept. 1. The cost of the class is $20 for members and non-members. Contact Jim Glover to register.

Hunter Safety Class

The Fin & Feather Club of Mason County will be offering the last hunter safety class of the year on Saturday, Aug. 11 and Sunday, Aug. 12 from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. both days. Sign up for the class will be held at Captain Chuck’s II, 5756 W. US 10 in Pere Marquette Township on Saturday, Aug. 4 from 10 a.m. to noon. The workbook can be picked up at time of registration. Participants must attend the class on both days and pass the hunter safety test to receive a certificate.
