Weekend police activity includes several crashes, arrests.

PERE MARQUETTE TOWNSHIP — A 39-year-old Ludington man was arrested Saturday, June 29 by Mason County Sheriff’s Office deputies and charged with bond violation. The arrest occurred in River Meadow Estates, in the 5000 block of West Rasmussen Road. Deputies made the arrest during a follow-up contact stemming from another incident, according to Sheriff Kim Cole.

• 3:50 p.m., MCSO, a 68-year-old Ludington man was cited for driving while license suspended, first offense, following a traffic stop at Michigan and Mills streets in the Village of Free Soil.
• 4:21 p.m., MCSO, two vehicle crash, no injuries, US 31 and Countyline Road, Grant Township.

July 1, 2018

• 2:16 a.m., MCSO, a 21-year-old Scottville man was arrested and charged with operating a vehicle while intoxicated, first offense, following a single vehicle rollover crash on Chauvez Road west of Appleton Road in Riverton Township. There were no injuries.
• 2:47 p.m.,  MCSO, car/deer crash, no injuries, US 31 near Pere Marquette Highway, Summit Township.
