Deputies investigating stolen canoe.

PERE MARQUETTE TOWNSHIP — Deputies from Mason County Sheriff’s Office are investigating a report of a stolen canoe in the 1500 block of North Washington Avenue. The canoe is a 17-foot Michi-Craft, model S-17. The complaint was taken at 10:19 a.m. on Thursday, June 28.

Other activity of the sheriff’s office for June 28 included:

  • 12:44 p.m., single vehicle crash, no injuries, 4700 block of West US 10-31, Amber Township.
  • 2:55 p.m., two vehicle crash, no injuries, US 31 off-ramp at US 10, Amber Township.
  • 8:50 p.m., car/deer crash, no injuries, Pere Marquette Highway south of Conrad Road, Pere Marquette Township.
