Online purchases of $3,000 reported in credit card fraud case. #MasonCountyCrime
BRANCH TOWNSHIP — The Mason County Sheriff’s Office was called to investigate a credit card fraud complaint Friday, June 22, at 5 p.m. that involved the theft of $3,000 through unauthorized online purchases, said Mason County Sheriff Kim Cole.

Friday, June 22, 2018:
- 3:54 a.m., (MCSO), car/deer crash, no injury, Quarterline and Hoague roads, Grant Township.
- 9:18 a.m., (MCSO), two-vehicle crash, no injury, US 10 east of Meyers Road, Amber Township.
- 12:13 p.m., (MCSO), two-vehicle crash, no injury, US 10-31, Amber Township.
- 1:55 p.m., (MCSO), trespassing, Bass Lake Boulevard, Summit Township.
- 2:19 p.m., (MCSO), one-vehicle crash, no injury, Lincoln and Shagway roads, Hamlin Township.
- 10:20 p.m., (MCSO), car/deer crash, no injury, US 10 and Schoenherr Road, Custer Township.
Saturday, June 23, 2018:
- 7 a.m., (MCSO), damaged vehicle, 4800 block of West US 10, Pere Marquette Township. The victim reported an unknown person scratched their vehicle while parked in a parking lot.
- 12:53 p.m., (MCSO), gas drive-off, $8.11 in was stolen, 5900 block of West US 10 — Ludington EZ Mart, Pere Marquette Township.
- 2:17 a.m., (MCSO), car/deer crash, no injury, US 10 and Reek Road, Custer Township.
- 5:51 p.m., (MCSO), two-vehicle crash, minor injury, Lincoln and Sugar Grove roads, Hamlin Township.
Sunday, June 24, 2018:
- 12:15 a.m., (Michigan State Police), a 26-year-old Ludington man was arrested for driving while license suspended, Sixth Street near Sherman Road, Pere Marquette Township.
