Obituary: Penny Goerbig, 66, Scottville.

Penny L. Goerbig, 66, of Scottville passed away peacefully at home, Wednesday, May 16, 2018. She was born July 9, 1951 in Ludington to Max and Doris (Brown) Rahn.

Penny graduated from Mason County Central High School in 1969. She went on to attend West Shore Community College. Penny married Wayne Goerbig on February 28, 1970.

Penny will be remembered for her smile and joy for life. In her spare time, she enjoyed gardening and playing on the eight ball pool league.

She will be greatly missed by her husband, Wayne; her children, Anne (Joseph) Miller, Jennifer (Dwayne) Campbell, Kelly (Duangporn Korpotchara) Goerbig, and Melissa (Brian) Frizzell; her nine grandchildren; and her brother, Greg (Jane) Rahn.

Penny was preceded in death by her parents.

A memorial service will be held Monday, June 18, 2018 at 11 a.m. Family will greet friends starting at 10 a.m. at the Oak Grove Funeral Home of Ludington.

Memorial contributions in Penny’s name may be directed to the East Side Pool League – Flower Fund.
