HAMLIN TOWNSHIP — Used syringes, alcohol and marijuana were recovered at a vehicle crash scene Saturday, May 12, at 12:43 p.m. on Lakeshore Drive near Golfwood Road, according to Mason County Sheriff Kim Cole.

A 22-year-old Wilmore, Kentucky man was arrested for operating while intoxicated, open intoxicants and possession of marijuana following the one-vehicle rollover crash. He and his passenger, a 29-year-old man from Cincinnati, Ohio, were both injured and treated at Spectrum Health Ludington Hospital for non-life threatening injuries.

The crash remains under investigation by the Mason County Sheriff’s Office.
