LUDINGTON — The following proceedings recently occurred in 79th District Court:

Arraignments

Felonies

Straub

– Branden Arlie Straub, 29, of 179 N. Jebavy Dr., Pere Marquette Township, was arrested by the Mason County Sheriff’s Office (MCSO) for a felony of possession of cocaine, heroine or another narcotic less than 25 grams. Preliminary exam: May 23 at 11:15 a.m. Bail: $3,500/personal.

Lebrun

– Andrew Lee LeBrun, 36, of 803 E. Loomis St., Ludington, was arrested by MCSO for a felony of possession of cocaine, heroin or another narcotic less than 25 grams. Preliminary exam: May 23 at 11:15 a.m. Bail: $3,500/personal.

Misdemeanors

– Lisa Irene McMinn, 58, of 2854 Vulcan St., Muskegon; MCSO; second-offense operating while intoxicated (OWI). Pretrial: May 21 at 1:30 p.m. Bail: $5,000/10 percent.

– Kie Juan Hernandez, 19, of 120 W. State St., Scottville; MCSO; marijuana possession. Pretrial: May 14 at 2 p.m. Bail: $2,500/personal.

– Lavar Delon Smith, Jr., 20, of 1953 S. Avers, Chicago; Scottville Police Department; marijuana possession. Bail: $2,500/personal.

– William Graywolf Wilson, 26, of 918 High St., Manistee; Michigan State Police; no insurance. Bail: $1,500/personal.

– Jordan Thomas Wiend, 18, no address listed; MCSO; OWI. Pretrial: June 4 at 9:45 a.m. Bail: $2,500/personal

Sentencings

– Julie Ann Schultz, 58, of 1251 N. Amber Rd., Amber Township, was found guilty May 3 of driver transporting open intoxicants and was sentenced to $265 in fines and costs. Conviction reportable to the Secretary of State (SOS).

– Robert William Wicks, 26, of 163 N. Stiles Rd., Amber Township, was found guilty May 7 of failure to display a valid license and was sentenced to 90 days discretionary jail for one year and $275 in fines and costs. Conviction reportable to SOS.

– Marcos Moses Zamora, 23, of 202 E. Danaher St., Ludington, was found guilty May 7 of allowing a person to drive in violation and was sentenced to 90 days discretionary jail for one year and $335 in fines and costs.
