Scottville Clown Band Shell announces 2018 summer series.

SCOTTVILLE — The Scottville Clown Band Shell, home of the longest continuous summer music series in Mason County, will launch its 29th season on Tuesday, June 5 and will continue through Aug. 21. All concerts begin at 7 p.m. and are free. A goodwill offering is requested during the show.

The series includes:

  • June 5: Mason County Central Jazz Band and MC Jazz
  • June 12: Kevin Kimes & Andy Thomas
  • June 19: Fremont John Ashton
  • June 26: Edgar Struble & Friends
  • July 3: Scottville Clown Band Patriotic Concert
  • July 10: RPM, classic rock including Dale Horowski
  • July 17: Mason County Civic Band
  • July 24: Redux, featuring Lexi Alvesteffer and Dave Kosla
  • July 31: Jim Dodson, acoustic guitar from Mason County’s east side.
  • Aug. 7: Chad Rushing, guitar and blues
  • Aug. 14: Cats N Jammers, oldies from Fountain.
  • Aug. 21: Scottville Clown Band Homecoming Concert

The band shell is operated jointly by the Scottville Clown Band and the Scottville Optimist Club and operates through donations from the community.
