79th District Court arraignments, posted May 6, 2018

LUDINGTON — The following were arraigned recently in 79th District Court:

Felonies

Oliveros-Urieta

– Armando Oliveros-Urieta, 38, of 500 S. Union St., Hart, was arrested by the Michigan State Police (MSP) for a felony of assault by strangulation. Preliminary exam: May 16 at 11:15 a.m. Bail: $10,000/10 percent.

Michels

– Kyle Avery Michels, 22, of 6954 W. US 10, Branch Township, was arrested by MSP for a felony of analogue possession. Preliminary exam: May 16 at 11:15 a.m. Bail: $2,500/10 percent. He is also charged with misdemeanors of operating while intoxicated (OWI), no operator’s license and improper plate. Pretrial: May 9 at 1:15 p.m. Bail: $2,500/personal.

Smith

– Jarod Tylor Smith, 17, of 4716 N. Beaune Rd., Hamlin Township, was arrested by the Mason County Sheriff’s Office (MCSO) for felonies of uttering and publishing a state warrant and using a computer to commit a crime and a misdemeanor of marijuana possession. Preliminary exam: May 9 at 11:15 a.m. Bail: $25,000/10 percent.

Marshall Brault

– Marshall Jennings Brault, 25, of 2275 N. Tallman Lake Rd., Sheridan Township, was arrested by MCSO for felonies of furnishing contraband to a prisoner and heroin possession less than 25 grams. Preliminary exam: May 9 at 11:15 a.m. Bail: $15,000/10 percent.

Albaugh

– Michael Ryan Albaugh, 29, of 7008 E. Oakridge St., Sheridan Township, was arrested by MCSO for felonies of second-degree home invasion, breaking and entering a building with intent, unlawful driving away of an automobile and second-offense habitual offender. Preliminary exam: May 16 at 11:15 a.m. Bail: $50,000/cash/surety.

Gowell

– Jeffery Richard Gowell, 57, of 878 Emerson Ave., Muskegon, was arrested by the Ludington Police Department (LPD) for a felony of third-offense operating a vehicle while intoxicated (OWI). Preliminary exam: May 16 at 11:15 a.m. Bail: $7,500/10 percent.

Misdemeanors

– Scott David Alexander, 56, of 2233 N. Sherman Rd., Hamlin Township; MCSO; OWI. Pretrial: May 21 at 10:45 a.m. Bail: $2,500/10 percent.

– Timothy Stewart Rogers, 37, of 531 Dorothy Bowen Dr., Sheridan, Michigan; MCSO; driving while license suspended (DWLS). Pretrial: May 21 at 11:15 a.m. Bail: $1,500/10 percent.

– Angela Maria Courteau, 40, of 5525 W. Johnson Rd., Pere Marquette Township; LPD; OWI. Pretrial: May 21 at 11 a.m. Bail: $2,500/10 percent.

– Tierzah Joy Spira, 19, of 219 E. Fifth St., Scottville; MSP; malicious destruction of a boundary marker. Pretrial: May 7 at 11:15 a.m. Bail: $1,500/personal.

– Mark Robert Young, 62, of 109 Fourth St., Ludington; LPD; domestic violence. Pretrial: May 14 at 11:15 a.m. Bail: $2,500/10 percent.

– Paul Brandon-Scott Amos, 34, of 425 W. Taylor Rd., Hart; MCSO; DWLS. Pretrial: May 7 at 2:45 p.m. Bail: $1,500/personal.

– Michelle Louise Brandt, 48, of 401 W. Ludington Ave., Ludington; LPD; third-degree retail fraud. Bail: $2,500/personal.

– Matthew Allen McGovern, 29, of 240 E. Gibson, Branch Township; MCSO; operating while impaired. Pretrial: May 21 at 10:15 a.m. Bail: $2,500/10 percent.
