Hansen Road construction to begin April 30.

AMBER TOWNSHIP — Hansen Road between Gordon and LaSalle roads will be closed to through traffic beginning Monday, April 30 for construction. The project will include widening the roadway, flattening slopes, cold-milling, earthwork, and culvert replacements. The project is scheduled to be completed by July 14, 2018.

The $658,000 project is funded by the Federal Highway Administration, Michigan Department of Transportation, and Mason County Road Commission.

The traffic detour will include Stiles Road, US 10-31, and US 31.
