Ludington to change Fifth Ward polling location.

LUDINGTON — The voters of the Fifth Ward will begin voting at a new location. The new location would be Lakeshore Resource Network at 920 E. Tinkham Ave. The previous location has been Lakeside Church at 301 N. Washington Ave. The change is being made because the church is closing and the building is up for sale.

The change will be considered by the city’s Election Commission — which consists of the city attorney, city assessor, and the city clerk — during a public meeting today at 5:30 p.m. at city hall, 400 S. Harrison St. If the commission approves the change, the City Council will then vote on it at its meeting, which begins at 6:30 p.m. tonight.
