Rhythm & Dunes concerts to feature U2, country music tribute bands.

LUDINGTON — Plans are well underway for West Shore Bank’s seventh annual Rhythm and Dunes community concert series. Headliners for the summer concert series include Hollywood U2, a U2 tribute band on Saturday, July 28, and Young Guns, a tribute to country music superstars on Saturday, Aug. 4.

Both free shows will take place at Waterfront Park pavilion in beginning at 6 p.m.

Hollywood U2 brings the look and sound of U2, as well as the band’s true heart, to every performance with precision and excitement.  With a set list that spans the band’s entire catalog, the band specializes in delivering the iconic Zoo TV and Vertigo tours to U2 fans.  Recognized by AXS.TV as one of the world’s greatest tribute bands, the lead singer is the only Bono impersonator to have sung with Bono and U2.  More information at www.hollywoodu2.com.

Young Guns’ tribute to country music superstars tears up the stage with songs from iconic country artists of yesterday and today.  The band entertains crowds with songs from bands such as Charlie Daniels Band, Rascal Flatts, Garth Brooks, Jason Aldean, Tim McGraw, Big & Rich, Johnny Cash and many more legendary artists.  With amazing stage presence, they will have you on your feet and singing along through the entire show. Crowds have grown each year with an estimated 10,000 – 12,000 music fans attending last year’s concerts.  Last year’s event raised over $12,000 which was donated to local music education programs.
