Facebook has recently updated its algorithms which may impact how often you see news from Mason County Press, Oceana County Press, and/or Manistee County Press. Here are some simple steps to assure that we are on top of your news feed:

On your computer desktop, look for the arrow in the top right of your newsfeed, next to the question mark. Click on that arrow and select “News Feed Preferences.” Then click “Prioritize Who To See First.” That will give you a list of the pages, groups, and friends you follow. Be sure to select each of our news feeds you want to watch.

Also, remember that the Media Group 31 family of news services is the only media in Mason, Manistee, and Oceana counties to offer a mobile app. Go to your mobile device’s app store and look for Mason County Press and download it for free. The app will give you news alerts for what’s happening in all three counties.
