Sheriff’s office investigating possible drug use following US 10 crash.

CUSTER TOWNSHIP — Deputies from Mason County Sheriff’s Office are investigating a single vehicle crash that took place Monday, Feb. 5, on US 10 near Schoenherr Road. The crash involved a 40-year-old Fountain woman who was driving a Ford Fusion. According to Sgt. Eric Soneral, a MCSO drug recognition expert was called in to conduct an advanced sobriety test. He then requested a search warrant for a blood sample from the driver. The case remains open pending toxicology.
