LUDINGTON — Fire destroyed a shed at 701 E. Fifth St. Monday afternoon. The shed is owned by Erik Smith, who was home at the time of the fire. It was located about 15 to 20 feet north of Smith’s home and was fully engulfed when Ludington Fire Department arrived on scene. Firefighters were able to quickly extinguish the fire when they arrived.
