GRANT TOWNSHIP — A 24-year-old man died Friday night following a single vehicle rollover crash in northern Mason County. Emergency crews were dispatched to Quarterline Road between Forest Trail and White Road about 11:50 p.m. The man, who was the lone occupant, was traveling south on Quarterline Road when the vehicle apparently left the roadway and rolled over onto its side, ejected the driver. Bystanders began performing CPR prior to the arrival of medical first responders.

At the time of the crash, a thin layer of snow covered Quarterline Road. Mason County Sheriff Sgt. Oscar Davila, on the scene, said the cause of the crash had not yet been determined.

Responding to the scene were Mason County Sheriff’s Office, Grant Township Fire and Rescue, Life EMS ambulance, and Mason County Victim Assistance Unit.
