WSCC winter semester registration underway.

VICTORY TOWNSHIP — Registration for winter semester classes that begin Monday, Jan. 15, 2018, at West Shore Community College is open to both returning and new students.

“Students who register early for classes have the best selection of courses, as well as day and time offerings available to them,” said WSCC Director of Enrollment and Student Engagement Marcus Crook. “Now is also the time to concentrate on the application process for financial aid that can help pay for classes.”

All students seeking financial aid must complete a Free Application for Federal Student Aid form, also commonly referred to as FAFSA. Information about the FAFSA can be found atwww.fafsa.ed.gov. Those with questions about the financial aid process can contact the WSCC Financial Aid office at (231)843-5917.

This winter, WSCC is offering nearly 350 course sections at its Scottville campus and the Manistee County Education Center near Manistee. Of those, many are offered in the evening. Several classes are also being offered in Hart and area high schools. 

In addition, there are many online courses offered through Michigan Colleges Online. These courses allow students to do much of the coursework and lectures at home with limited visits to the campus for testing and labs.
