Sugar Ridge Church of the Brethren to hold Blessing of the Hunt.

CUSTER TOWNSHIP — The Sugar Ridge Church of the Brethren, 2012 E. Wilson Road, will hold its annual Blessing of the Hunt event on Saturday November 11, 2017 starting at 6:30  p.m. at the church located 2 ½ miles south and ½ mile west of Custer on Wilson Road.

This annual event is an outreach to the community by the Sugar Ridge Church providing a meal, speaker, and door prizes for those attending. This year’s speaker will be Jim McInnis, speaking on the topic “Keeping It Safe”.

Jim McInnis is a retired law enforcement officer who served with the Mason County Sheriff’s Office for five years, and over 25 years with the Titusville, Fla. Police Department. Jim’s hobbies include woodworking and wood carving. His passion is hunting and fishing, especially bow hunting.
