79th District Court sentencings/dismissals, posted Oct. 5, 2017.

LUDINGTON — The following were recently sentenced in Mason County’s 79th District Court:

-Arlen Michael Blank, 49, of 611 S. Staffon St., Ludington, pleaded guilty September 26 to operating a vehicle while intoxicated (OWI) and was sentenced to 172 days in jail with credit for two days served; 93 days discretionary jail for one year; must attend victim’s impact weekend; no drugs/alcohol; subject to random PBTs; must complete alcohol highway safety education; and $1,095 in fines/costs. Conviction is reportable to Secretary of State (SOS). A charge of refusing a preliminary breath test (PBT) was dismissed.

-Bradley Rayman Leonard, 37, of 603 S. Washington Ave., Ludington, pleaded guilty September 26 to second-offense domestic violence and was sentenced to 65 days in jail with credit for 65 days served; one year discretionary jail for two years; no drugs/alcohol; subject to random PBTs and drug tests; no contact with the victim; must have substance abuse and domestic violence evaluation; and $730 in fines/costs.

-Timothy Joseph MacAllister, 56, of 8515 S. Queens Hwy., Chase, pleaded guilty September 27 to selling a stun gun without verifying identity and was sentenced to 30 days discretionary jail for one year; must forfeit the weapons seized; and $535 in fines/costs. Charges of possession/sale of a taser and second-offense habitual offender were dismissed.

-Carleen Marie Busse, 77, of 1654 N. Venture Ln., Tempe, Arizona, pleaded guilty September 26 to OWI and was sentenced to two days in jail with credit for two days served; 93 days discretionary jail for one year; must attend victim’s impact panel; no drugs/alcohol; subject to random PBTs; and $1,095 in fines/costs. Conviction is reportable to SOS. A charge of operating with a blood alcohol level over .17 was dismissed.

-Zeke William Smith, 32, of 105 E. Fifth St., Pinconning, pleaded guilty September 26 to operating a vehicle while impaired by a controlled substance and was sentenced to three days in jail with credit for three days served; 93 days discretionary jail for one year; subject to parole officer’s requirements; no drugs/alcohol; subject to random PBTs and drug tests; and $960 in fines/costs. Conviction is reportable to SOS. A charge of second-offense driving while license suspended (DWLS) was dismissed.

-Christine Marie Pilon, 51, of 7392 Sharp Rd., Swartz Creek, pleaded no contest September 27 to public intoxication and attempted assault/resisting/obstructing a police officer and was sentenced to two days in jail with credit for two days served; 90 days discretionary jail for one year; must have substance abuse evaluation; no drugs/alcohol; subject to random PBTs; and $1,105 in fines/costs. A charge of assault/resisting/obstructing a police officer was dismissed.

-Santiago Escamilla, 30, of 6612 N. 126th Ave., Hart, pleaded guilty September 26 to DWLS and was sentenced to one day in jail with credit for one day served; may not operate a vehicle until legally able to do so; and $285 in fines/costs. Conviction is reportable to SOS.

Ashley Marie Wall, 30, of 909 Kosciusko St., Manistee, pleaded guilty September 28 to allowing a person to drive in violation of the motor vehicle code and was sentenced to pay $335 in fines/costs.

-Earl Matthew Deal, 43, of 28196 E. Laffettey, Sturgis, pleaded guilty October 2 to attempted snagging of fish and was sentenced to pay $275 in fines/costs.

-Tyler Ryan Tyszko, 20, of 16791 Stark Rd., Springport, pleaded guilty October 2 to illegal fishing gear/retaining foul hooked fish and was sentenced to pay $220 in fines/costs.

Dismissals

-Bradley Alan Mann, 24, of 163 N. Alpine Dr., Branch Township, had a charge of breaking and entering dismissed per a plea agreement on September 26.
