Beekeepers to host A Sweet Taste of Mason County.

SCOTTVILLE — The Scottville Beekeepers of Mason County is holding a fall festival, A Sweet Taste of Mason County, on Saturday, Oct. 21, from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. at the Scottville Area Senior Center, 140 S. Main St.

 

The event is free and open to the public. It will feature more than 15 different honey tasting stations made from Mason County harvested honey. The event will also include information sessions with local beekeepers and an observation hive with live bees.

Ed Malkowski will be at the event to sign his memoir “Patron Saint of Bees.”

 

The beekeepers group is going into its third successful year with monthly attendance typically close to 50 people.
