Democrats’ meeting to include congressional candidate, discussion on opioid epidemic.

LUDINGTON — The October meeting of the Mason County Democratic Party will take place on Thursday, Oct. 5 in the West Shore Bank Room at the Mason County District Library Ludington branch, 217 E. Ludington Ave., beginning at 7 p.m.

The meeting will feature Matt Morgan, who is running for Michigan’s 1st Congressional District in 2018. The meeting will also feature a topic on the local opioid epidemic with speakers Mason County Sheriff Kim Cole, Mason County Prosecuting Attorney Paul Spaniola and Dr. Michelle Kuster.
