LUDINGTON — West Shore Bank has recently made a donation of $5,000 towards the Ludington Area School District Oriole Foundation Dancing with the Local Stars event. The event will take place Saturday, Oct. 21 at Lincoln Hills Golf Club in Hamlin Township and will feature local personalities competing for best dancers.

Choreography is being provided by Alissa Bly, Calista Swanson, and Lauren Sawson and the master of ceremonies will be John Reed. Judges for the evening will be Spence Riggs, Lynda Matson and Jim Scatena. The Ludington High School Jazz band will be on hand to provide entertainment at the beginning of the evening.

Dancers and their partners will be competing against each other for one of three trophies: Judges’ Choice, Most Entertaining and People’s Choice. The People’s Choice award goes to the couple who receives the most public votes – $1 equals 1 vote.  Attendees can vote for their favorite couple at the event or others can vote online (http://lasd.net/district/oriole-foundation).
