LUDINGTON — The following were recently arraigned in Mason County’s 79th District Court:

Felonies

Bothwell

-David Duane Bothwell, 40, no address listed, was arrested August 24 by the Mason County Sheriff’s Office (MCSO) on felony charges of bond absconding and fourth-offense habitual offender. Preliminary hearing: September 13 at 11:15 a.m. Bail: $50,000 cash.

Fitzgerald

-Kevin Michael Fitzgerald, 33, of 306 ½ E. Loomis St., Ludington, was arrested August 22 by Ludington Police Department (LPD) on felony charges of assault with intent to do great bodily harm and domestic violence. Preliminary hearing: September 13 at 11:15 a.m. Bail: $15,000/10 percent.

Michael Somsel

-Michael Joseph Somsel, 31, of 504 S. Emily St., Ludington, was arrested August 22 by the State, Sheriffs, Chiefs Enforcement Narcotics Team (SSCENT) on felony charges of litter – infectious waste and third-offense habitual offender. Probably cause hearing: September 6 at 2:30 p.m. Bail: $10,000/10 percent.

April Somsel

-April Lynn Somsel, 43, of 504 S. Emily St., Ludington, was arrested August 22 by LPD on felony charges of second-degree home invasion and third-offense habitual offender. Preliminary hearing: September 13 at 11:15 a.m. Bail: $15,000/10 percent.

-Mercedes Ann Coffman, 17, of 503 N. Washington Ave., Apt. 11, Ludington, was arrested August 17 by the Mason County Sheriff’s Office (MCSO) on a felony charge of possession of a controlled substance. Preliminary hearing: September 13 at 11:15 a.m. Bail: $7,500/10 percent.

Dalzell

-Amanda Jean Dalzell, 45, of 406 Gay St., Scottville, was arrested August 23 by the Scottville Police Department (SPD) on felony charges of assault/resisting/obstructing police and domestic violence. Preliminary hearing: September 6 at 11:15 a.m. Bail: $5,000/10 percent.

-Zachary Ryan Grow, 23, of 3786 Manning St., Muskegon; August 26; MCSO; malicious destruction of personal property and assault & battery. Pretrial: September 18 at 2 p.m. Bail: $5,000/10 percent.

-Zachary Robert Hubbard, 23, of 4626 S. Custer Rd., Eden Township; August 19; MCSO; second-offense operating a vehicle while intoxicated (OWI). Pretrial: September 25 at 9:45 a.m. Bail: $5,000/10 percent.

-Robert Joel Hein, 36, of 924 N. Rath Ave., Ludington; August 18; MCSO; OWI. Pretrial: September 25 at 10:30 a.m. Bail: $2,500/10 percent.

-Eric James Asiala, 50, of 206 N. Reinberg Ave., Scottville; August 21; MCSO; OWI and operating a vehicle with a high blood alcohol content. Pretrial: September 25 at 11:15 a.m. Bail: $3,500/10 percent.

-Eric Lee Pokorny, 31, of 2948 Tahoe Rd., New Era; August 24; MCSO; driving while license suspended (DWLS). Pretrial: September 18 at 2:45 p.m. Bail: $3,500/10 percent.

-Tara Lynn Bowers, 37, of 4679 E. First St., Custer Township; August 8; MSP; failure to maintain security (no vehicle insurance), unlawful plates and operating an unregistered vehicle. Pretrial: September 18 at 11:45 a.m. Bail: $2,500 personal recognizance.
