LUDINGTON — The following were recently sentenced in Mason County’s 79th District Court:

-David Lewis Seibert, 67, of 918 High St., Manistee, pleaded no contest August 28 to disorderly person jostling and was sentenced to 90 days discretionary jail for one year and $285 in fines/costs.

-David Lee Zimmer, 44, of 619 S. Tyndall Rd., Branch Township, pleaded guilty August 23 to larceny less than $200 and was sentenced to 12 days in jail with credit for two days served; 93 days discretionary jail for two years; no drugs/alcohol; subject to random PBTs and drug tests; must attend AA two times per week for one year; must complete domestic violence counseling and $220 in fines/costs. A charge of unarmed robbery was dismissed.

-Jason Hernandez, 34, of 103 S. Columbia, Scottville, pleaded guilty August 22 to second-offense operating a vehicle while intoxicated (OWI) and was sentenced to 37 days in jail with credit for seven days served; one year discretionary jail for two years; must attend victim’s impact panel; must have substance abuse evaluation; subject to random PBTs and drug tests; and $1,495 in fines/costs. Conviction is reportable to Secretary of State (SOS).

-Justin Michael Hamilton, 28, of 3558 E. Fountain Rd., Sherman Township, pleaded guilty August 22 to failure to maintain security (no vehicle insurance) and was sentenced to two days in jail with credit for two days served; one year discretionary jail for one year; no drugs/alcohol; subject to random PBTs and drug tests; and $600 in fines/costs. Conviction is reportable to SOS. Charges of possession of marijuana, transporting an open intoxicant and driving while license suspended (DWLS) were dismissed.

-Bruce James Burton, 39, of 6409 N. Dennis Rd., Victory Township, pleaded guilty August 22 to disorderly conduct/disturbing the peace and was sentenced to five days in jail with credit for five days served; 90 days discretionary jail for one year; must have domestic violence and substance abuse evaluations; no drugs/alcohol; subject to random PBTs and drug tests; and $600 in fines/costs. A charge of domestic violence was dimissed.

-Christa Willson Lenz, 51, of 3314 Neil Rd., Hamlin Township, pleaded no contest August 22 to operating a vehicle while impaired by liquor (OWIL) and was sentenced to 93 days discretionary jail for one year; must attend AA two times per week for one year; must attend victim’s impact panel; subject to random PBTs and drug tests; and $870 in fines/costs. Conviction is reportable to SOS.

-Matthew James Herlein, 34, of 3673 W. Woodview Dr., Amber Township, pleaded guilty August 22 to possession of marijuana and was sentenced to one year discretionary jail for one year; driver’s license suspended for 365 days and restricted for 305 days; and $535 in fines/costs. Conviction is reportable to SOS.

-Cindy Lee Allen, 50, of 3857 S. Morton Rd., Riverton Township, pleaded guilty August 24 to driving while license not valid and was sentenced to 90 days discretionary jail for one year; 12 months of probation; and $225 in fines/costs. Conviction is reportable to SOS.

-Brennan Todd Morley, 17, of 4068 E. Church St., Fountain, pleaded guilty August 28 to allowing a person to drive in violation of the motor vehicle code and was sentenced to 90 days discretionary jail for one year; 12 months of probation; and $335 in fines/costs.

Dismissals

-Daniel Frank Kalis, 57, of 7449 W. White Bridge Dr., Irons, had a charge of reckless dropping dismissed on August 15 after pleading guilty to a lesser charge of careless driving.

-Samantha Marie Lysh, 25, of 1038 Kensington Ave. SW, Grand Rapids, had a charge of operating a vehicle without security (no insurance) dismissed on August 23 after pleading guilty to a lesser charge of no proof of insurance.

-Gabriel Allen Rivera, 26, of 309 Melendy St., Ludington, had a charge of operating a vehicle without security (no insurance) dismissed on August 23 after pleading guilty to a lesser charge.

-David Michael Schroll, 25, of 54 E. 72nd St., Idlewild, had a charge of operating while license suspended dismissed on August 23 after pleading guilty to a lesser charge.

John Ernest Hernandez, 51, of 120 W. State St., Scottville, had a charge of littering – objects in path of vehicle dismissed on August 23 after pleading guilty to a lesser charge.
