SCOTTVILLE — Have you ever wanted to be a star? Tuesday is your chance. The weekly concert series at the Scottville Clown Band Shell will be an open mic night with karaoke hosted by MCP’s own Dan “Danny V” Vargas.

The evening begins at 6:30 p.m. with the second annual Smith & Eddy Insurance Local Heroes’ Night, featuring displays from area fire, law enforcement, and EMS in the parking lot adjacent to the Scottville Optimist Center. Entertainment on the band shell begins at 7 p.m. A free movie, “Sing”, will begin at dusk.

The Scottville Optimist Club will be selling popcorn, cotton candy, snow cones, and beverages throughout the evening.
