White Pine Village music festival and corn roast is Aug. 5

PERE MARQUETTE TOWNSHIP — Historic White Pine Village will host a music festival and corn road on Saturday, Aug. 5. The event will feature bluegrass, folk and jazz music including Rick Hicks, Oceana Drive – Ruthie Eilers, Haws and Owls String Band, Michigan Mafia String Band, and an open jam session.

Cost is $15 for adults, $9 for children. Music will be performed from 2 to 9 p.m. and food will be served from 4 to 7 p.m.
