SHERMAN TOWNSHIP — Parts of northern Mason County saw damage as a result of a storm that moved through the area about 6:30 p.m. Wednesday. Part of a  barn’s roof and its massive door were blown off  of the building located on Beyer Road, just east of US 31.

Owner Bill Stakenas of Stakenas Farms said the door, which is about 16-feet wide and over 20-feet high, was completely ripped off of its track, along with 2×4 studs, and blown into the nearby field. The portion of the roof that was blown off was also in the field. “Just another day on the farm,” Stakenas said.
