SUMMIT TOWNSHIP — A female driver appeared to have escaped serious injuries following a single vehicle rollover crash on US 31 expressway Wednesday morning. The crash involved a Ford Escape SUV that was southbound on US 31. The vehicle appeared to have rolled over several times before coming to a rest in a ditch about 150 feet from the point it left the roadway.

Responding to the scene were Michigan State Police, Pere Marquette Township Fire Department, Life EMS ambulance, and Ludington Fire Department (which was disregarded while en-route).

No other details were immediately available.
