PENTWATER — The Pentwater Police Department posted on its Facebook page Tuesday afternoon, June 13, that there is a black bear in the village.
“Pentwater Police have received reports of a black bear traveling between Second Street and Monroe Road. The bear was traveling south when last seen. If you see the bear, DO NOT ATTEMPT TO ENGAGE IT. Please call 911 and let us know where it is and what direction is it traveling in.”
PPD recently commented on the post, indicating that the bear was traveling east of Victoria Boulevard near Patterson Marine.
