LUDINGTON — The Pirates of the Caribbean Shoreline Cruise onboard the S.S. Badger scheduled for tonight has been rescheduled for Saturday, June 17 due to weather concerns.

“In the best interest of our passengers comfort and safety, we have made the difficult decision to reschedule the June 10th Pirates of the Caribbean Shoreline Cruise due to unsafe marine conditions for the time of the scheduled shoreline cruise,” said Lake Michigan Carferry Director of Marketing and Media Relations Terri Veen.

The National Oceanic and Atmospheric Administration forecast for tonight is calling for southwest winds up to 30 knots and gale force gusts with waves 8 to 11 feet.

“Passengers who are unable to reschedule for the June 17 date will receive a full refund,” Veen said. “We regret any inconvenience this may have caused.

Passengers are being notified of the event cancelation directly by Lake Michigan Carferry.
