LUDINGTON — The following were recently arraigned in Mason County’s 79th District Court:

Felonies

Brooks

-Elrico James Brooks, 37, of 404 Sixth St., Ludington, was arrested May 15 by the State, Sheriff, and City Enforcement of Narcotic Team (SSCENT) on felony charges of possession of a controlled substance and fourth-offense habitual offender. Preliminary hearing: June 14 at 11:15 a.m. Bail: $15,000 cash/surety.

Murphy

-Bryan Patrick Murphy, 41, of 511 N. Rath Ave., Ludington, was arrested May 26 by the Mason County Sheriff’s Office (MCSO) on felony charges of first-degree home invasion, extortion, domestic violence, two counts of assault & battery, and malicious destruction of property. Preliminary hearing: June 14 at 11:15 a.m. Bail: $10,000/10 percent.

Masunas

-Renee Pauline Masunas, 40, of 7049 Illinois St., Hamlin Township, was arrested May 29 by the Ludington Police Department (LPD) on felony charges of fleeing and eluding police, domestic violence and second-offense operating a motor vehicle while intoxicated (OWI). Preliminary hearing: June 14 at 11:15 a.m. Bail: $10,000/10 percent.

-Mason Jack Gorendal, 30, of 10139 S. Basford Lake Rd., Baldwin, was arrested May 24 by MCSO on a felony charge of assault/resisting/obstructing police. Preliminary hearing: June 14 at 11:15 a.m. Bail: $7,500/10 percent.

Granlund

-Erin Nicole Granlund, 19, no address listed, was arrested May 10 by LPD on felony charges of larceny in a building and lying to a police officer. Probably cause hearing: June 7 at 1:15 p.m. Bail: $7,500/10 percent.

-Joshua Robert Steven Smith, 21, of 505 Fifth St., Apt. 2, Ludington, was arrested May 28 by LPD on a felony charge of delivering a controlled substance. Preliminary hearing: June 14 at 11:15 a.m. Bail: $5,000/10 percent.

Rider

-Janis Kay Rider, 59, of 501 E. Fifth St., Ludington, was arrested May 24 by SSCENT on felony charges of delivery of a controlled substance, possession of marijuana and possession of analogues. Preliminary hearing: June 14 at 11:15 a.m. Bail: $5,000 personal.

Dietz

-Denton Robert Dietz, 33, of 2166 N. Lincoln Rd., Hamlin Township, was arrested May 25 by the Scottville Police Department (SPD) on a felony charge of possession of a controlled substance. Preliminary hearing: June 14 at 11:15 a.m. Bail: $2,500 personal.

Misdemeanors

–Daniel Lee Bothwell, 40, of 109 W. Dowland St., Ludington; May 29; MCSO; second-offense domestic violence. Pretrial: June 26 at 1:30 p.m. Bail: $7,500/10 percent.

-Joseph Michael LeClair, 56, of 3516 W. Hansen Rd., Amber Township; May 26; MCSO; second-degree retail fraud. Pretrial: June 19 at 2:45 p.m. Bail: $5,000/10 percent.

-Daniel Frank Kalis, 57, of 6117 E. US 10, Branch Township; May 25; MCSO; reckless driving. Pretrial: June 12 at 3:15 p.m. Bail: $2,500 personal.

-Daniel Leon King, 34, of 308 E. Court St., Apt. 11, Ludington; May 29; LPD; malicious destruction of personal property. Pretrial: June 26 at 1:45 p.m. Bail: $2,500/10 percent.

-Kristin Agnes Malik, 57, of 3283 W. Kinney Rd., Riverton Township; May 25; Michigan State Police (MSP); possession of marijuana. Pretrial: June 19 at 2:30 p.m. Bail: $2,500 personal.

-Joshua Taylor Myers, 21, of 1245 N. LaSalle Rd., Amber Township; May 29; MSP; operating a motor vehicle while intoxicated (OWI). Pretrial: June 26 at 10 a.m. Bail: $2,500/10 percent.

-William Jess Stubbs, 57, of 107 Jefferson St., Ludington; May 27; MCSO; OWI. Pretrial: June 26 at 3:15 p.m. Bail: $2,500/10 percent.

Troy Douglas Henney, 32, of 7199 Navajo Trail, Branch Township; May 18; LPD; driving while license suspended (DWLS). Pretrial: June 19 at 11:15 a.m. Bail: $1,500/10 percent.
