Citizen donates emergency kit for K-9. 

LUDINGTON — A citizen recently donated funds to purchase an emergency medical kit for the Mason County Sheriff’s Office’s K-9 unit, Cash. Dep. Ken Baum, the department’s K-9 handler, said the kit includes a respirator, splints, sutures, gauze, ice packs, and many other items that may be used in case the Dutch Shepard is injured. The donor wanted to remain anonymous.
