LUDINGTON — First Street between Sherman and Taylor streets will be closed to through traffic beginning April 10 due to continuing construction. Traffic will be rerouted at Conrad Industrial Drive on the east end of the project and at Madison Street on the west end. The street is estimated to be re-opened by April 21.

According to a press release from the City of Ludington, the closure will allow the contractor to continue water main installation on the north side of First Street and also allow work to turn the corner at Taylor Street and continue south on Taylor Street.

First Street will remain open to local traffic and emergency vehicles.
