Heroin possession arrest tops recent Mason County arraignments.

The following were recently arraigned in 79th District Court:
Felonies
Beer
-Renee Nicole Beer, 27, 2849 W. Johnson Road, Amber Township, was arrested on March 28 by the State, Sheriff’s, Chief’s Enforcement of Narcotics Team (SSCENT) and the Mason County Sheriff’s Office on the charges of possession of heroin and possession of analogues. The felony offense is punishable by up to four years in prison and/or a $25,000 fine. A preliminary examination is scheduled for April 19 at 11:15 p.m. Bail: $5,000, full amount.
Stepka
-Richard Zigmund Stepka, 28, of 2092 E. US 10, Custer Township, was arrested Mar. 26 by the Scottville Police Department (SPD) on a felony charge of third-offense operating under the influence of liquor (OWIL) and a misdemeanor charge of driving while license suspended (DWLS). Preliminary hearing: Apr. 12 at 11:15 a.m. Bail: $7,500/10 percent.
Green
-Tommie Lee Green, 42, of 1005 N. James St., Ludington, was arrested Mar. 23 by the State, Sheriff, and City Enforcement of Narcotic Team (SSCENT) on a felony charge of second-offense possession of marijuana. Preliminary hearing: Apr. 12 at 11:15 a.m. Bail: $5,000/10 percent.

–Cameron Michael Dahlgren-Edel, 18, of 645 E. Kott Rd., Manistee; Mar. 23; Mason County Sheriff’s Office (MCSO); possession of marijuana. Pretrial: Apr. 17 at 2 p.m. Bail: $2,500 personal.
-Dean Jackson Cunningham, Jr., 61, of 19505 Chapin Rd., Henderson, Mich.; Mar. 18; Michigan State Police (MSP); possession of marijuana and operating while intoxicated (OWI). Pretrial: Apr. 17 at 10:15 a.m. Bail: $2,500 personal.
-Matthew Caleb Petersen, 33, of 2486 N. Jebavy Dr., Hamlin Township; Mar. 24; MCSO; domestic violence. Pretrial: Apr. 17 at 10:45 a.m. Bail: $2,500 personal.
-Blake Thomas Alvesteffer, 19, of 5656 S. Eden Lake Rd., Eden Township; Mar. 23; MCSO; domestic violence. Pretrial: Apr. 17 at 2:23 p.m. Bail: $2,500/10 percent.
