BRANCH TOWNSHIP — Narcotics officers busted a methamphetamine lab at a home in the 7000 block of US 10 Wednesday, Feb. 8, according to State, Sheriffs’, Chiefs’ Enforcement of Narcotics Team (SSCENT) Det./Lt. Andrew Ambrose.

SSCENT detectives executed a search warrant, and several items used in meth making were located inside the home. Meth production involves the use of hazardous materials and requires specially-trained technicians to clean up the site.

“No arrests have been made as the case is still under investigation,” Ambrose said.

SSCENT detectives were assisted by deputies from the Mason County Sheriff’s Office.
