LUDINGTON — A 43-year-old Ludington woman was injured Thursday morning after the vehicle she was driving rear-ended a parked truck in the Fourth Ward. The woman was driving a Chevrolet Cruze north on Taylor Street between Third and Second streets when she struck a Chevrolet Silverado pickup owned by Chuck Eberbach. Eberbach was inside his house at the intersection of Taylor and Second streets when he heard the crash. He said the driver told him that she was trying to avoid a dog in the street.

Responding to the scene were Ludington Police Department, Ludington Fire Department, and Life EMS ambulance.
