Miller elected president of bar association.

LUDINGTON — Jordan Miller was elected the president of the Mason-Lake Bar Association during the organization’s meeting on Friday, Feb. 3. Other officers elected included Jennifer Cleaver, vice president; Tracy Thompson, treasurer; and Ryan Glanville, secretary.

Miller is an associate attorney at Carlos Alvarado Law PC of Ludington.  The firm focuses on business, real estate, immigration, and estate planning.

The Mason-Lake Bar Association is comprised of attorneys in the two-county area who are actively engaged in the practice of law and who have a residence in one of the counties.  Its mission is to discuss and resolve common problems of interest in the legal practice, to promote the effective administration of justice, and to gather and disseminate information on issues that have an impact on the practice of law, all in an effort to better serve the area’s citizens.  The Association, which was established in the early 1980s, includes private attorneys, prosecutors, and judges.
