ASM Tech offers early college to high schoolers.

VICTORY TOWNSHIP — ASM Tech Early College High School provides two years of tuition and books at West Shore Community College, free of charge to the student or family.  Up to 40 high school students per year from Mason, Lake, Manistee, and Oceana counties are offered the opportunity to participate in the program and start college early.

ASM Tech has paid over $600,000 so far to provide area high school students with a jump start into college.  Many students are able to earn their associate’s degree as they earn their high school diploma.  This opportunity also comes with intentional support services to guide students through the rigors of college and career readiness.

Informational meetings for parents and interested students are being held in the area:

  • Tuesday, Jan. 24, West Shore Educational Service District North Center, 2130 West US-10-31, 7 to 8 p.m.
  • Thursday, Jan. 26, Baldwin Community Schools, 525 4th St, Baldwin, 5:30 to 6:30 p.m.
