GRANT TOWNSHIP — A 37-year-old Muskegon woman was arrested on a charge of assault and battery by Michigan State Police troopers from the Hart post Thursday, Jan. 12, in the 7000 block of Dennis Road.

The following is other police activity Thursday, Jan. 12, 2017:

– 2:49 a.m., (Mason County Sheriff’s Office), a 40-year-old Manistee woman was arrested for second-offense driving while license suspended (DWLS) following a reported “suspicious situation” call, Loprete and Jespson roads, Grant Township.

– 6:20 a.m., (MCSO), larceny from a vehicle, Lunette Drive, Pere Marquette Township.

– 6:55 a.m., (MCSO), car/deer crash, no injuries, US 31 and Hoague Road, Grant Township.

– 12:59 p.m., (MCSO), one-vehicle crash, no injuries, Lakeshore Drive north of Bryant Road, Pere Marquette Township.

– 4:14 p.m., (MCSO), two-vehicle crash involving a minor injury, Pere Marquette Highway and Wallace Road, Pere Marquette Township.

– 5:30 p.m., (MCSO), car/deer crash, no injuries, Jebavy Drive south of Dewey Road, Hamlin Township.

– 6:20 p.m., (MCSO), car/deer crash, no injuries, Dewey Road east of Morse Road, Sheridan Township.

– 7:58 p.m., (MCSO), two-vehicle hit-and-run crash, no injuries, Hansen west of US 31, Amber Township. The victim reported an unknown vehicle crossed the centerline and sideswiped his vehicle and then left the scene, causing minor damage and no injuries.

– 8:52 p.m., (MCSO), a 30-year-old Fountain man was arrested for probation violation following a 911 call from a residence reporting an “unwanted person,” 6500 Glen Lane, Sheridan Township.

– 11:15 p.m., (MSP), a 59-year-old Ludington man was arrested for driving without an operator’s license, Sixth Street near Pere Marquette Highway, Pere Marquette Township.
