LUDINGTON — The following were recently arraigned in 79th District Court:

Misdemeanor arraignments.

– Casey Sue Smith, 35, of 710 E. Filer St., Ludington; Dec. 19; Mason County Sheriff’s Office (MCSO); domestic violence. Pretrial: Jan. 23 at 9:30 a.m. Bail: $2,500 personal.

– Gary Owen Hardenburgh, 43, of 6932 W. Maple St., Hamlin Township; Dec. 20; MCSO; domestic violence. Pretrial: Feb. 13 at 10:30 a.m. Bail: $2,500/10 percent.

– Thomas Earl Smith, 20, of 504 E. Fifth St., Ludington; Dec. 22; State, Sheriffs’, Chiefs’ Enforcement Narcotics Team (SSCENT); possession of marijuana. Pretrial: Jan. 23 at 9:45 a.m. Bail: $2,500/10 percent.

– Michael Edward Roberts, 29, of 109 N. Gordon Rd., Amber Township; Dec. 17; Scottville Police Department (SPD); possession of marijuana. Pretrial: Feb. 13 at 10:15 a.m. Bail: $2,500/10 percent.

– Stephen John Silvers, 28, of 3767 N. Shadybrooke Ln., Victory Township; Dec. 17; Michigan State Police (MSP); operating while intoxicated (OWI) and possession of marijuana. Pretrial: Mar. 6 at 9:30 a.m. Bail: $2,500/10 percent.

– Benjamin Thomas Sanchez, III, 21, of 4698 S. M-37, Baldwin; Dec. 21; Ludington Police Department (LPD); operating a vehicle while intoxicated (OWI) and possession of marijuana. Pretrial: Feb. 6 at 1:30 p.m. Bail: $2,500/10 percent.

– Gerald Dale Griffin, 53, of Pentwater; Dec. 16; MCSO; driving while license suspended (DWLS) and transporting an open intoxicant in a motor vehicle. Pretrial: Feb. 13 at 9:45 a.m. Bail: $1,500/10 percent.

– Kevin Michael Burton, 34, of 3790 Sass Rd., Manistee; Dec. 16; MSP; DWLS. Pretrial: Feb. 13 at 10 a.m. Bail: $1,500/10 percent.

Sentencings

– Timothy Stewart Rogers, 36, of 531 Dorothy Bowen Dr., Sheridan, Mich., pleaded no contest Dec. 20 to second-degree retail fraud and was sentenced to 20 days in jail with credit for 20 days served; one year discretionary jail for one year; and $600 in fines/costs.

– Sandra Lynn Cornwall, 60, of 2165 W. US 10, Amber Township, pleaded guilty Dec. 20 to operating an ORV while impaired and was sentenced to 93 days discretionary jail for one year; ORV license suspended for 90 days; no drugs/alcohol; subject to random PBTs; must continue current counseling program; and $870 in fines/costs. A charge of operating while intoxicated was dismissed.
