Police seek charge against West Olive man, 72, for burning down house.

SHERIDAN TOWNSHIP — A report will be forwarded to the Mason County Prosecutor’s Office after a 72-year-old West Olive man burned down a home on his property in the 6900 block of East Sugar Grove Road Wednesday, Dec. 28, at 1:13 p.m., said Mason County Sheriff Kim Cole.

The Mason Count Sheriff’s Office is seeking a charge of “illegal disposal of waste,” Cole said. “The report followed a motorist passing by a home, reporting it fully engulfed in flames.”
