LUDINGTON — The following were recently sentenced in 79th District Court:

– Kevin Alan North, 25, of 921 W. Beyer Rd., Victory Township, pleaded guilty Dec. 13 to second-offense operating while impaired and was sentenced to 31 days in jail with credit for one day served; one year discretionary jail for one year; must attend victim’s impact weekend; upon completion of impact weekend, the jail term will be suspended; no drugs/alcohol; subject to random preliminary breath tests (PBTs); subject to random drug tests; must complete substance abuse disorder counseling; and $1,200 in fines/costs. Conviction is reportable to Secretary of State (SOS).

– Timothy John Thorne, 34, of 4020 N. Stephens Rd., Sherman Township, pleaded guilty Dec. 13 to disorderly person – drunk and was sentenced to 26 days in jail with credit for 26 days served; 90 days discretionary jail for one year; must have substance abuse evaluation; no drugs/alcohol; must attend AA two times per week for one year; subject to random PBTs; and $600 in fines/costs. Charges of malicious destruction of property and disturbing the peace were dismissed.

– Mark Allen McBride, 22, of 801 W. Loomis St., Ludington, pleaded guilty Dec. 13 to improper transport of medical marijuana and was sentenced to 15 days in jail with credit for 15 days served; 93 days discretionary jail for one year; no drugs/alcohol; subject to random PBTs; and $600 in fines/costs. A charge of possession of marijuana was dismissed.

– Mark Edward Dekle, 29, of 209 W. Fourth St., Scottville, pleaded guilty Dec. 13 to domestic violence and was sentenced to 11 days in jail with credit for 11 days served; 93 days discretionary jail for one year; must have substance abuse and domestic violence evaluations; no contact with the victim; no drugs/alcohol; subject to random PBTs; must attend AA two times per week for one year; and $535 in fines/costs.

– Joshua Robert Delbarker, 39, of 5454 W. Johnson Rd., Pere Marquette Township, pleaded guilty Dec. 13 to third-degree retail fraud (shoplifting) and was sentenced to two days in jail with credit for two days served; 93 days discretionary jail for one year; and $535 in fines/costs.

– Harley Boone Sheldon, 22, of 4689 N. Sherman Rd., Hamlin Township, pleaded guilty Dec. 13 to possession of marijuana and was sentenced to two days in jail with credit for two days served; one year discretionary jail for one year; no drugs/alcohol; subject to random PBTs; subject to random drug tests; must continue substance abuse counseling; and $535 in fines/costs. Conviction is reportable to SOS. An additional charge of possession of marijuana was dismissed.

– Richard Paul Brown, 27, of 4545 W. Anthony Rd., Summit Township, pleaded guilty Dec. 20 to disorderly person – drunk and was sentenced to two days in jail with credit for two days served; 90 days discretionary jail for one year; no drugs/alcohol; must enter substance abuse program; one year probation; and $285 in fines/costs.

– Joseph R. Greiner, 52, of 819 N. James St., Ludington, pleaded guilty Dec. 20 to disorderly conduct/disturbing the peace and was sentenced to two days in jail with credit for two days served; 90 days discretionary jail for one year; no drugs/alcohol; one year probation; and $285 in fines/costs.

– Theodore Carl Schoenherr, 69, of 2146 N. Schoenherr Rd., Sheridan Township, pleaded guilty Dec. 15 to transporting an open intoxicant in a motor vehicle and was sentenced to pay $265 in fines/costs. Conviction is reportable to SOS.

– James Craig Cameron, 27, of 691 N. Custer Rd., Custer Township, pleaded no contest Dec. 13 to operating a vehicle while impaired by liquor and was sentenced to 93 days discretionary jail for one year; must attend victim’s impact panel; no drugs/alcohol; subject to random PBTs; must complete alcohol highway safety education (AHSE); and $870 in fines/costs. Conviction is reportable to SOS.

– Joseph Benjamin Terhaar, 30, of 3160 N. Amber Rd., Victory Township, pleaded guilty Dec. 15 to failure to display a valid driver’s license and was sentenced to pay $275 in fines/costs. Conviction is reportable to SOS.

– Jose Alfredo Cintura, Jr., 21, of 4164 N. 120th Ave., Hart, pleaded guilty Dec. 15 to failure to display a valid driver’s license and was sentenced to pay $275 in fines/costs. Conviction is reportable to SOS.

– Cody Dakota Silver Ellis, 31, of 45002 County Road 388, Bloomingdale, Michigan, pleaded guilty on Dec. 19 to driving while license expired and was sentenced to two days in jail with credit for two days already served; 90 days discretionary jail for one year; no driving until legally able to do so; one year probation; and $225 in fines/costs. Conviction is reportable to SOS.

– Ismael Lopez, 19, of 309 E. Danaher St., Ludington, pleaded guilty Dec. 15 to driving while license not valid and was sentenced to pay $225 in fines/costs. Conviction is reportable to SOS.

– Donald Paul Simmons, Jr., 45, of 301 E. Court St., Ludington, pleaded guilty Dec. 15 to driving while license not valid and was sentenced to pay $225 in fines/costs. Conviction is reportable to SOS.

– Robert Russell Potter, 67, of 2293 N. Tallman Lake Rd., Sheridan Township, pleaded guilty Dec. 15 to transporting an uncased bow/firearm in a vehicle and was sentenced to pay $255 in fines/costs.

– Emily Kathleen Bottrell, 22, of 2955 E. Koenig Rd., Free Soil Township, pleaded guilty Dec. 15 to hunting/fishing without a license and was sentenced to pay $250 in fines/costs.

Dismissals

– Lori Ann Lilleberg, 52, of 1101 Daisy Lane, Ludington, had a charge of operating without security (no vehicle insurance) dismissed without prejudice Dec. 13 after pleading guilty to a lesser charge.

– Robert Lance Lester, 49, of 1552 Fourth Avenue, Manistee, had a charge of operating while license suspended/revoked/denied dismissed without prejudice Dec. 13 per a plea agreement.

– Kalisha Jonell Fisher, 23, of 7531 E. Decker Rd., Branch Township, had charges of operating while license suspended/revoked/denied and failure to stop at an accident dismissed without prejudice Dec. 13 after pleading guilty to a lesser charge.
