GRANT TOWNSHIP — A deer hunter reported to the Mason County Sheriff’s Office Monday afternoon, Nov. 28, that his tree stand and trail camera were stolen some time within the past three days from the 6400 block of Holstetler Road, according to Mason County Sheriff Kim Cole.

Michigan State Police activity Monday, Nov. 28, 2016, includes:

  • 8:35 a.m., car/deer crash, Sugar Grove and Darr roads, Sherman Township.
  • 11:46 a.m., one-car crash involving an injury, Decker Road and US 31, Custer Township.
  • 11:24 p.m., felonious assault, Lakeshore Drive and Kistler Road, Summit Township. The case is under investigation, and no other information was immediately available.
