LUDINGTON — A 26-year-old Ludington woman was transported by ambulance to the hospital following a two vehicle crash at the intersection of Loomis and Emily streets Monday afternoon.
The crash occurred when an eastbound Ford Edge, driven by the 26-year-old, was struck by a northbound Chevrolet Tahoe, driven by a 36-year-old Ludington woman, who failed to stop at the yield sign. The driver of the Edge received non-life-threatening injuries and was taken to Spectrum Health Ludington Hospital. The driver of the Tahoe received a ticket for failure to yield the right-of-way.
Responding to the scene were Ludington Police Dept., Ludington Fire Dept., and Life EMS.
