LUDINGTON — A warrant is being requested for a 28-year-old Pentwater woman for allegedly smuggling contraband into a correctional facility after she was found to have suspected drugs hidden in her mouth when she checked into the Mason County Jail to serve a weekend sentence on an additional drug conviction Friday, Nov. 4, at 9:20 p.m., according to Mason County Sheriff Kim Cole.

• 6:48 a.m., (MCSO), car/deer crash, no injuries, Marrison and Stiles roads, Riverton Township.

• 3:30 p.m., (MCSO), two-vehicle crash, no injuries, US 10-31 and Brye Road, Amber Township.

• 7:44 p.m., (MCSO), a 34-year-old Ludington man was arrested for second-offense driving while license suspended (DWLS) following a traffic stop, Hansen and Dennis roads, Amber Township.
