B&E suspect apprehended.

LUDINGTON — The Mason County Sheriff’s Office has announced that Shanin Nicholas Waite, 24, a suspect in three recent breaking and entering crimes in Mason County, has been apprehended. Waite was wanted for questioning in connection to breaking and enterings that took place at King Funeral Home and Lower Hamlin Grocery store on Sept. 13, and also a third incident on Oct. 2. He is also wanted on a parole violation warrant out of Ottawa County. He is also listed with the Michigan Department of Corrections to being a parole absconder out of Oceana County as well.

On Sept. 13, a minivan was stolen from King Funeral Home and then tobacco and alcohol were stolen from Hamlin Grocery. The intruder crawled through a window to gain access to both buildings.

Waite is expected to be arraigned in 79th District Court in Ludington.
