Fountain man arrested on warrants.

BRANCH TOWNSHIP — A 23-year-old Fountain man was arrested by Mason County Sheriff’s deputies on two outstanding warrants Tuesday, Oct. 11, at 6:38 p.m. in the 7000 block of East Martin Road. The warrants were for probation violation in Manistee County and for charges of failure to appear and failure to pay fines and costs in Mason County, according to Mason County Sheriff Kim Cole.

Other Mason County Sheriff’s Office activity Tuesday includes:

• 7:38 a.m., car/deer crash, no injuries, Free Soil and Taylor roads, Meade Township.

• 12:17 p.m., two-vehicle crash, no injuries, US 10 and US 31, Amber Township.

• 7:46 p.m., a warrant is being requested for a 42-year-old Hart man for retail fraud stemming from an incident at Walmart, 4800 block of West US 10, Pere Marquette Township.

• 8:21 p.m., a 34-year-old Ludington man was arrested for domestic violence following a 911 call from a residence, 700 block of North Dennis Road, Amber Township.

• 8:44 p.m., car/deer crash, no injuries, Hawley and Morton roads, Riverton Township.
